Nanotechnology is the technology of the 21st century. For example - the thickness of a human hair is 80,000 nanometers!
This technology is useful, when working with atoms, which are the building blocks from which everything is made.Nanotechnology makes it possible to manipulate atoms and change their structure.
This, in turn, allows the creation of extremely strong and durable products - virtually unbreakable pottery and scratch resistant paints, for example. The potential applications seem endless and IMPRESSED® has a major role in the development of this area
IMPRESSED® has protectors based on nanotechnology for wood, wickerwork, aluminium, chrome, stainless steel, metal, stone, glass, plastics and fabric.
With nanotechnology manipulated atoms can deeply penetrate into the material and smooth the treated surface which creates an almost impenetratable coating. In addition to that, the nano products of IMPRESSED® are heat resistant and also protect the surface during hot summer days. It ensures that the life of your precious possession is amply extended!
There is still a lot of uncertainty about the heat risks of nano products. For IMPRESSED® safety always has the highest priority and the uncertainty about the safety aspects is NOT applicable on the nano-products of IMPRESSED®.
We can differentiate two types of nanotechnology:
The manipulation of a product by adding nano particles
The manipulation of molecules on a nano scale
The products of IMPRESSED® are based on the 2nd type of nanotechnology. This means that traditionally produced products have been used and one has only used the purest (synthetic) raw materials. By making use of nanotechnology during the production process all unnecessary components, that have a negative effect on the function, or that can cause damage to the natural environment, have been removed.
This production process and more than 30 years experience explain the certifications and acquired NEN standards.
